Climate Coaches
Nineteen projects were funded under the Government’s Strand 2 (CCAP) Community Climate Action Programme. These projects developed good practice learning outputs (toolkits, apps, guidance, tools, training programmes etc.) which can be used by communities to take action at a local level on climate change.
A research report ‘Understanding how inclusive community-based climate action can be scaled up: A Process Evaluation of the Community Climate Action Programme Strand 2’ was launched in June 2025.
Information about the 19 projects can be found in the full project booklet here

The project snapshots that outline: the aims of the project; the learning outputs they created (toolkits, training programmes, apps, guidance, case studies etc.) to support community groups to take action on climate change; how communities can use the resources, how they engaged marginalised communities and how to get involved are available here
